What is Traditional Fencing?
The use of fencing in landscape has a long history, it all began with the use of functional fencing. Split rail fence was used to control grazing areas or to keep areas out of grazers reach. Setting boundaries is what traditional fencing is all about.
In todays world traditional fencing is still used to create boundaries, but with an eye to aesthetics.
Creating a landscape feature with fencing can add tremendously to the beauty of a yard. Thoughtfully placed plantings along a fence protects those plantings as well as creating a soft boundary.
